ContractLens Privacy Policy

Your privacy is fundamental to ContractLens. This app was built with a simple principle: your documents are yours alone.

What We Don't Collect

ContractLens does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

• Your documents or their contents
• Analysis results or summaries
• Personal information or identifiers
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Location data
• Device identifiers for tracking purposes
• Crash reports sent to external servers

How Analysis Works

All document analysis in ContractLens is performed 100% on-device using Apple's Foundation Models framework. This means:

• Your documents never leave your device
• No text is sent to any external server or cloud API
• AI processing happens entirely on your iPhone or iPad
• No internet connection is required for analysis

Your Data

• Storage: Documents and analysis results are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you enable iCloud, data syncs through your personal iCloud account under Apple's privacy policies.
• Deletion: You can delete any document or all data at any time from the Settings screen. Deleted data is permanently removed from your device.
• No Backups: ContractLens does not maintain any server-side backup of your data.

Third-Party Services

• Apple StoreKit: Used solely for in-app purchase management. Apple handles payment processing under their own privacy policy.
• No Analytics SDKs: ContractLens contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks.

Children's Privacy

ContractLens does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will be included in the app update. Continued use of ContractLens after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
