Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 14, 2026

DryDog (the "App") is a private, on-device sobriety tracker. We do not operate any backend servers, do not collect personal data, and do not share any information with third parties.

What we collect

Nothing. All data you enter — pet name, substance type, check-in history, mood notes, sobriety date — is stored only on your iPhone (and optionally synced through your private Apple iCloud account if you enable iCloud sync in a future version).

Third parties

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. The App makes no network requests to any servers we operate.

In-App Purchases

DryDog Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription managed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs any data collected during the purchase: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Notifications

If you opt in, DryDog schedules local notifications for daily check-in reminders and milestone celebrations. These are generated and delivered entirely on your device.

Face ID / Touch ID

If you enable the optional app lock, DryDog uses Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. We never see your biometric data — Apple's Secure Enclave handles authentication and only tells the App "yes" or "no."

Children

DryDog is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the App handles data (for example, adding optional cloud sync), we will publish an updated policy here and prompt you in the App before any new data leaves your device.
